Hey girl hey!With Valentine’s Day being just around the corner, I wanted to share this swoon worthy red top with y’all. The detailing on this top is gorgeous and I cannot get enough of the sleeves. Y’all are probably aware of how big a fan I am of flared sleeves so naturally this top caught my eye and I had to have it. I love how bold the color is and the keyhole detailing on the back, I honestly could go on and on but I’ll save you from all my babbling! One last thing though, this top is lightweight so it also makes a great transition piece for the Spring.
This top is also a great option for Valentine Day festivities (it comes in blush and white as well). It’s easy to dress up for a night out (pair it with a red lip) or down for a casual night in (can someone pass the chocolate and rose?!). Happy 2018 lovelies! I cannot believe how fast 2017 flew by, I mean seriously y’all, where does the time go?! 2017 was quite a year but I am more than ready and excited for 2018 and all it has in store! I love the New Year because it symbolizes a fresh start and I’m all about that. Every New Year, I take time to focus on what I really want and make a list of what I hope to achieve for that year. I’m planning on sharing my list of goals with all of you next week but I did want to focus on one today that is a repeat year after year. Every year, I strive to incorporate fitness and an overall healthy lifestyle into my daily routine (bet ya didn’t see that one coming…#cliche).
This year, I want to find a fitness routine that I can push myself to stick to. I am absolutely obsessed with Pure Barre and have been for quite awhile now so I am striving to attend classes 5x/week. If you haven’t tried Pure Barre yet, I highly recommend it! It’s such a great workout and is guaranteed to make you break a sweat. Besides Pure Barre, I want to try out other classes/programs such as Orangetheory, Tone It Up and BBG. I’ve heard great reviews on all three so I’m dying to try them out! I also want to make healthy eating a priority and finally start meal prepping. Y’all, I’m so so bad at this. This year, I vow to find a program that provides healthy eating options so that I can stay on track. If you have any recommendations, please let me know! Oh, and one tip I’ll pass on is never go to the grocery store hungry. That’s usually how I grocery shop and it never turns out well (how did ice cream and Oreos end up in my cart…), so that’s a little goal I have for the year as well.
Switching gears a bit, these leggings are a must have. They’re my favorite as you’ve probably heard me mention before but they’re so good! I own multiple pairs, some for working out and others for wearing out and running errands. They’re flattering and the cost doesn’t break the bank! I’ve linked two of my favorite styles below as well as my new Nikes that I cannot stop wearing. They’re the lightest and most comfortable tennis shoes I’ve ever owned. Plus, the grey color goes with everything!
