Happy Friday lovelies! Apologies on getting this post up a bit late today but I wanted to share another edition of ‘Friday Favorites’ with y’all! This edition includes my new favorites for fall, many of which are staple pieces that you will get use out of for years to come.
Velvet ‘Whitely’ Choker – I’m loving the choker trend right now and cannot get enough of this bow velvet choker! The bow detailing on this choker adds a feminine touch while still maintaining a sense of edginess. I also love how the bow is adjustable so you can easily change the look depending on what mood you’re in.
Wayf Faux Suede Skirt – Y’all how adorable is the button detailing on this skirt?! I love incorporating suede into my fall wardrobe and even though this skirt is faux suede, the fabric is still super soft. This skirt would look great paired with a white long sleeve tee, an oversized scarf and OTK boots or booties. You could also pair this skirt with tights and a leather jacket/oversized cardigan. There are so many ways to style this piece making it a perfect fall essential!
Steve Madden ‘Nikolett’ Open Toe Sandals – Recently, I’ve been searching for sandals/booties that can transition easily from summer weather into cooler temps. While at Nordstrom, this pair caught my eye almost immediately! I love the nude leather material, the gold hardware accents and the wooden heel of this sandal; I know I will be wearing these year round. Plus, these chic sandals can easily transition from day to night (work to play) as well. They’ll definitely be on major repeat for me this season!
Mac Cosmetics ‘Myth’ Lipstick – The past few weeks I’ve been on the hunt for a new nude lipstick. I’ve tried out quite a few in the past but have never found one that I’m in love with. I came to the conclusion that a nude lip maybe wasn’t the best look on me until I found Mac’s ‘Myth’ lipstick. It has quickly become my new favorite go to lipstick for fall. It has a satin finish and looks great paired with a smoky eye as well as with everyday makeup/a simple look.
Astr Lace-Up Bell Sleeve Shift Dress (Olive) – Olive is one of my favorite colors to wear for this season, for some reason it just screams fall to me! I also am loving the lace up and bell sleeve trends, both of which this dress has. The lace-up look adds a feminine touch and a hint of subtle sexiness to any outfit. Also, this dress is so flattering and easy to throw on and go! The length is perfect (not too short / too long) and it’s easy to dress up or down. It would look great paired with a faux fur vest / leather jacket and booties!
Essie ‘kimono-over’ Nail Polish – I have always been obsessed with Essie, they honestly have the best polish colors (Pink Penthouse was my absolute fave in college)! Essie recently released this ‘kimono-over’ color for Fall 2016 and I am dying to try it out! I love a good plum nail color for fall and this shade seems to be the perfect fit. Also, I’ve been living in white and pink polished nails this summer so I’m excited to start switching things up a bit! Once I try this hue out, I’ll be sure to let y’all know what I think!
Halogen ‘Owen’ Pointy Toe Flat (Blush Nappa Leather) – Y’all know how I feel about anything blush so naturally this flat has become one of my favorites! These flats are very ‘in’ for fall and I love the lace-up detailing. They run TTS and are very comfortable to wear. They’re also extremely versatile and can be worn with everything from dresses to jeans. I may need to add a few more colors of this flat to my closet, I’ve had my eye on the burgundy and leopard print for quite a while now!
Hinge Floppy Wool Hat – Every girl needs a floppy hat in her closet! It’s a great accessory for fall and I love the neutral color of this hat. There’s also an adjustable drawstring located inside the inner rim allowing you to adjust for the perfect fit. Floppy hats are definitely one of my all-time favorite fall essentials.
I would love to hear what your current favorites are!
Thank you all so much for reading and I hope you have an amazing weekend! Xo
