Spring has officially sprung and I could not be more excited about it! Besides the gorgeous weather, I’ve fallen in love with so many spring trends. From off the shoulder tops and dresses to platform espadrille wedges, the list goes on and on. Let’s just say I’m more than ready to put away the heavy winter coats until next year.

For this look, I styled my all time favorite pair of white jeans with nude heels and a mint peplum top. Y’all, I’m swooning over this top! Mint also looks amazing paired with a tan so this color is perfect for spring and summer. I opted for finishing the look off with a pair of closed toe heels, since the weather was a tad chilly, but a pair of wedges (such as these or these) would also be perfect for spring.

Speaking of warmer weather, this weekend is supposed to be in the seventies! I’ve been into hiking lately, so I’m hoping to find a new hike/trail, plus I love spending as much time outside as possible. Also, I know I’ll be watching my fair share of basketball for the NCAA tournament (#goheels)!

I hope y’all have a fabulous weekend and thank you so much for reading! xo

Who doesn’t love a good white turtleneck sweater?! It’s perfect for layering and can be accessorized in a million ways. I wore this look during our trip to Vail on the night we went out to dinner at Beano’s Cabin in Beaver Creek (more about that here). Beano’s Cabin is located on the slopes and the only way to access it is by a twenty-minute open-air sleigh ride. Since the weather had been very chilly at night, I opted for as much layering and bundling up as possible.

I still wanted to look dressed up for our dinner date so I styled a white turtleneck with a leather jacket (love these two pieces paired together!), black jeans and OTK boots. I threw on one of my favorite pair of statement earrings and pink lipstick to finish off the look!

The dinner at Beano’s was amazing to say the least and the views are incredible. It’s such a great experience to do while in Vail and we would highly recommend it! That being said, do be sure to bring layers for the ride up the mountain. We came prepared with winter jackets, beanies, scarves and gloves. The Snowcat sleigh does provide blankets but it does get pretty cold!

I hope you all are having a wonderful week and thank you so much for reading! xo

Vail, Colorado is one of the most gorgeous places I have ever been to, it’s a real life Winter Wonderland! This adorable quaint town is one of my favorite places to visit and the views are beyond breathtaking and picturesque. Last year was the first year we visited Vail and I instantly fell in love. I was thrilled to visit again this year and wanted to share all the details of our trip with you!

Accommodations: This year we stayed at the Montaneros Resort located at the base of Vail Mountain in Lionshead Village. We rented a one-bedroom/one-bathroom condominium, which was the perfect size for the two of us. The condo included a full kitchen, living room, balcony, fireplace (my favorite feature!), BBQ grill and wi-fi. Resort amenities included an outdoor heated pool, hot tub (perfect for relaxing in after a day on the mountain), concierge-style services and a ski room. The ski room was honestly one of my favorite amenities. We could easily store our snowboard equipment and didn’t have to worry about carrying it to our room every night. Also, the ski room featured hot cocoa and popcorn (#winning) for guests as well as overnight boot dryers (a necessity!). Overall, we absolutely loved the Montaneros and the convenience of the location. It was only a short walk away (< 5 minutes) from restaurants, shops and the Eagle Bahn ski lift/gondola. Plus, the staff was always friendly and beyond helpful. We would highly recommend the Montaneros and look forward to visiting again!

Food: My favorite restaurant experience would have to be Beano’s Cabin in Beaver Creek. This restaurant is what I think of when I think Winter Wonderland. Beano’s sits at the top of the Beaver Creek Resort slopes and the only way to get there is by an open-air sleigh ride pulled by a Snowcat. Dreamy, right?! The views from the sleigh ride are spectacular and although it’s very cold, it’s so much fun. When you arrive at Beano’s, you have the option to store your cold weather gear and can even change into slippers if you prefer to do so! The cabin (restaurant) is truly a luxury log cabin complete with a fire, antler chandeliers, an open kitchen and live music. The menu is five courses and you are provided options within each course to choose from. My boyfriend and I each ordered different options and everything was delicious. I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant, if you find yourself in Vail or Beaver Creek, I would highly recommend going! *Another option similar to Beano’s is Allie’s Cabin. We went here last year and it was a similar experience with wonderful food. The only major difference is that the menu is fixed at Allie’s Cabin and each course comes with a wine pairing.

One of our favorite restaurants is Montauk Seafood Grill in Lionshead. We actually went here twice in one week since the food was so good. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that the seafood is very fresh. We ordered the oysters as an appetizer and I had the Miso-Glazed Salmon for dinner, both were amazing. There’s also quite the selection of cocktails as well. I would recommend making a reservation in advance since walk-in wait times can be a bit long.

Vail Chophouse is another restaurant I would highly recommend. It’s located at the base of Vail Mountain so the views are stunning! We grabbed lunch here a few times on the outdoor patio (complete with heat lamps) during our stay. If you go here, you have to order the fish tacos! Hands down the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. This restaurant also offers live music during the late afternoon making for a fun, lively atmosphere.

We also visited Bistro Fourteen and the 10th, both of which are on-mountain dining. You can access either by gondola as well. We only grabbed drinks and a few snacks here to fuel up during the day but both were fun restaurants with amazing views!

Activities: Vail Mountain provides an abundance of activities to choose from including snow tubing, snowshoeing, snow biking and of course, skiing and snowboarding. During our stay here, we snowboarded everyday and were too exhausted to participate in any of the other activities! By the time we finished snowboarding, all that was on my mind was cozying up by the fireplace with a nice cup of hot chocolate (or wine). We spent most of our time snowboarding on Vail Mountain but also spent a day at Beaver Creek. Most of the people we chatted with favored Beaver Creek but my boyfriend and I preferred Vail Mountain. There are so many runs to choose from and we never got bored, even after spending four days in a row on the same mountain. One piece of advice I do have is to stay away from the catwalks if you’re a snowboarder. The first day I tried to stick to ‘Greens’ so I could get my body warmed up and not spend the day tumbling down the mountain. Every time I hit a catwalk, I would have to take my snowboard off and walk since it was so flat and I could not for the life of me gain any momentum. You all may already know this but I just wanted to share anyways since I had no idea! I then moved on to the Blues and everything worked out much better!

Transportation: We flew into Denver International Airport, which is about 2 hours and 15 minutes away from Vail. We chose to take the Colorado Mountain Express rather than rent a car and make the drive ourselves. The Colorado Mountain Express picks you up at the airport, packs up your luggage in the back of the van and takes you to your destination. The shuttle van holds about 11 people (including the driver) and both times we took it, the van was packed full. It’s a bit tight but worth it since we think it’s the easiest way to get from Point A to Point B. Plus, you can take in the views out the window and not have to worry about driving. The only downside is they guarantee free Wi-Fi but the connection is horrible. We would recommend downloading a movie before just to be safe. Overall, we would recommend taking the Colorado Mountain Express.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Montaneros Resort in Vail. We had such an amazing trip and cannot wait to go back. If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments!

Thanks so much for reading and I hope you have a wonderful week! xo
