The gorgeous sunny 70-degree weather this past weekend has me in full on Spring fever mode! I threw on this top, distressed denim and Converse sneakers to take full advantage of the weather by spending the day at the lake. Take me anywhere near a body of water and I’m one happy girl! There’s something so calm and peaceful about the water, it’s my all time favorite place to be.
This off the shoulder top is one of my new favorites. I love love love the bow detailing on the sleeves plus I just love anything off the shoulder. Another reason why this top is one of my favorites is it’s so easy to dress up or down. Since I was going for more of a daytime look this past weekend, I kept the overall style pretty casual. However, this top would be perfect paired with white skinnies or dark wash flares, heels/wedges, a chunky necklace and leather jacket for date night or girls’ night out! Speaking of accessories, I’ve been obsessed with my Rocksbox pieces this month. How chic is this SLATE arrow pendant necklace? Love! Last but not least, I received these Converse Shoreline sneakers from my sweet momma as a birthday gift and y’all I feel like I haven’t taken them off since I got them! Coming from a true girly girl who lives in heels and wedges, if you would have asked me a year ago if I would ever own a pair of converse sneakers I would have just laughed. But I’m now 110% obsessed! They’re such a great transition piece (plus SO comfy!) and can be worn with almost anything. As the weather warms up, I’m planning on pairing them with dresses and jean jackets for a casual spring look. Another adorable look would be to pair them with One Teaspoon shorts, a simple v-neck and a baseball cap for a day of running errands. The list is endless!
What are your favorite winter to spring transition pieces?!
I hope y’all have are having a fabulous week and thank you so much for reading! xo
