A tweed-structured jacket/blazer is a closet essential that I highly recommend! It is definitely worth the investment as it will last forever and be stylish for years to come. Blazers are so versatile and can be styled in a wide variety of ways and worn for almost every occasion from work to play. This particular Goodnight Macaroon jacket has such a flattering fit and I cannot get enough of the fringe detailing! It has such a classic look that will never go out of style. Today I’ll be sharing three different signature looks all styled around this tweed jacket.

For the first outfit, I chose to style this jacket as a semi-casual, everyday look. All you need is a pair of distressed denim, a V-neck tee, a pair of booties and you’re good to go! I really love how this jacket looks with distressed denim and a basic tee. There’s something so effortless and chic about this certain style. This is a perfect weekend/date night look and can even be worn to the office if you swap out the booties for a pair of black heels or pointy toe flats.

The second look is perfect for the office. In Monday’s post, I wrote about how to transition an all white look into fall by incorporating a lightweight jacket/cardigan, which includes this tweed jacket. This look can be worn year round and I really love how the main focus of the outfit is put on the tweed jacket in this all white look. I kept my jewelry minimal but added a pop of leopard to give this work look a bit more flair and personality!

The third outfit I have styled around this tweed blazer is perfect for girl’s night out! I mixed up this look by pairing the jacket with faux leather leggings (love this pair) and a splash of color with this hot pink cami. I also added in a statement necklace to spice the look up a bit as well as a pair of OTK black boots. Another option for girl’s night out would be to style this look with a bright colored top, a skirt, tights and OTK boots or heels. Pair this look with a clutch and you’re all set!

There are so many additional ways to style this jacket with a skirt, dress, a jumpsuit and even a chic pair of shorts! The possibilities are endless; it can be mixed and matched with any piece in your wardrobe. Just add in your own sense of style to the look and you’re good to go!

What are you favorite ways to style a tweed jacket?!

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday and thank you so much for reading! xo

An all white look is one of my absolute favorite styles. There’s something so classic and chic about it and I find myself wearing it all the time during the summer months. Now that fall is upon us, I find myself getting excited for cozy cardigans and scarves but I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to my favorite summer trends. Good news is that with just a few style adjustments, you can totally rock the chic all white look year round!

Since fall is all about layering, one way to transition the all white look into the cooler months is by adding a lightweight jacket or cardigan to the outfit. When selecting a cardigan or jacket to add to the look, I tend to select pieces in ‘fall’ hues (think olive green, plum, brown, black, etc. vs. pastel colors). I think this helps give the look a more autumn-inspired feel. This brown jacket would be amazing with an all white look! For example, for this look I choose to add in an olive cardigan. If the weather is a bit chillier where you are (here in LA it still feels like summer!) you could also layer in a scarf to the look as well.

Mixing together summer and fall trends is another great way to transition an all white look into fall. For example, with this all white look I swapped out my go-to summer wedges for a pair of leopard heels. The lace-up trend is very in for fall right now so I also think a pair of lace-up heels (obsessed with these!) or flats would compliment this look perfectly! You can never go wrong with over the knee boots as well. Also, instead of pairing white jeans with a white tank, you could switch out the tank for a chunky white sweater or an oversized knit. Throw in a few accessories (floppy hat) and you’re good to go!

So don’t pack away those white jeans quite yet! The chic all white look is a style that can be worn throughout the year!

What are your favorite ways to transition an all white look into the cooler months of fall?!

Thanks so much for reading lovelies and I hope your week is off to a fabulous start! xo

Home Office Inspiration

Caitlin Carol - Home Office Inspiration

Desk | White Couch | Gold Heel & Fashion Books Painting (obsessed!) | Gold Mirror | Blush & Gold Throw Pillow | Chandelier | Leopard Throw Pillow | Blush Rug | White Fuzzy Bench | Harper’s Bazaar Greatest Hits Coffee Table Book | Hydrangeas in Vase

Happy Friday lovelies! Today I thought I would share some of my dream home office inspiration with you. Currently, I live in a one-bedroom apartment where my ‘home office’ resides in the form of my dining room table. Pretty fancy, huh? However, I hope one day soon to have a ‘real, grown-up’ home office of my own complete with a desk, shelves/storage galore and a chic white and blush color scheme. I’ll go more into detail about some of my favorite pieces below because a girl can dream, right?!

As I mentioned above, my dream home office would have a white and blush color scheme with gold accents. This has always been my favorite color scheme, there’s something so chic and girly about it. Now let’s move on to the basics… I absolutely love this One King’s Lane desk with the modern gold frame. The gold frame really pops and gives this desk an elegant touch of flair. Next, I would add in a white couch along with this white fuzzy bench (so chic!). The white furniture creates a clean and bright environment, an environment where I find my creativity thrives best. I would also add some shelving units (purchase from IKEA and spray paint gold) as well as a clothes rack (not pictured) because those are going to be extremely essential. To finish off the space, I would throw in this gorgeous blush rose rug – y’all I’m obsessed!

Now that we have the essentials down, it’s time to accessorize! I find that accessorizing a room is the best part although it can sometimes be daunting and overwhelming. There are so many accessories out there and it can be hard to find the ‘perfect’ pieces without going overboard. One thing I do to prepare for the accessorizing process is to browse Pinterest. You can search for any style room you are interested in and there’s so much inspiration! After browsing Pinterest for probably way too many hours (#indecisiveproblems), I create a list of the top accessories I want to purchase and then I’m ready to go!

For my home office, I would add this fun gold mirror to the wall as well as this amazing chic painting (LOVE – I’ve had my eye on this particular canvas for years!). Since this is my ‘dream’ home office, I figured I would of course need a chandelier as well. I love how even the most simple chandelier can add a touch of elegance and grace to any room. I would then add some blush and leopard throw pillows to mix up the patterns throughout the space (plus I had to include a pop of leopard somewhere!). Last but not least, I would add some desk decorations such as these flowers and this gorgeous coffee table book to make the room look more inviting.

Hopefully one day I can turn my dream home office into a reality! I would love to hear how you all would style your dream office or how you have styled your office if you already have one! Please also share any store recommendations you have for décor!

I hope y’all have a fabulous weekend and thank you so much for stopping by! xo
